Arsenal managed to get past Ipswich Town and reach the Carling Cup final. This is our best opportunity for years to win silverware. The only obstacle we face is in the form of a solid Birmingham City side. They have proven to be hard to beat but they have had a slump in form recently.
Unfortunately for the Gunners, they are picking up goals and confidence. They got to the final and drew against a strong Manchester City team. They will be a difficult nut to crack but Arsenal's class will prevail. Birmingham have lost their best defender on a long term injury and they will not be able to cope with the sheer magnificence of Fabregas, Walcott, and Chamahk's aerial presence. Samir Nasri has been Arsenal's best player by a distance this season but he has suffered an injury which will keep him out of action for at least three weeks. He might just recover in time for the Wembley final itself.
I hope that Arsenal are up for it and hungry for a victory as any good performance will give the Gunners a trophy that they so badly need. The Atmosphere will prove too much to handle for the midland team as the final is in London and we should have an overwhelming majority over the Birmingham fans.
My prediction is that Arsenal will win three goals to nil. We will claim the trophy which will be the first of many to come!
